An open door, not a job board.
HelioVap is small and at engineering validation stage. There is no recruitment pipeline and no list of vacancies. There is work that needs doing, and a way to tell us you want to do it.
Where things stand
We are not advertising positions. Publishing roles we cannot yet fund would waste your time, so we would rather say plainly what the work looks like and read what comes in. If something fits, we will say so. If it does not, we will tell you that instead of leaving you waiting.
The work this needs

Materials and characterisation
Formulating and testing porous photothermal composites, and measuring them properly: absorption across the spectrum, thermal behaviour at the interface, and what changes after long exposure to brine.

Thermal and fluid engineering
The gap between what evaporates and what is collected is the central engineering problem. Condensation surfaces, vapour transport, heat recovery and the modelling that tells you which change is worth making.

Prototyping and test
Building the rigs, running the experiments and being sceptical about the results. Instrumentation, repeatability, and the discipline to distinguish a real improvement from a good day.

Field and marine engineering
What survives outdoors. Mooring, fouling, salt, maintenance by people who are not engineers, and the difference between a device that works in a laboratory and one that works on a pontoon.
